This sweet, golden-yellow oil is enriched with tones of dry fruits and a bitter, slightly spicy finish. It has a slightly fruity and herbaceous aroma with hints of a green apple peel. Made from organic olives grown in Badalucco, a small jewel in the middle of Valle Argentina of Liguria, with a climate perfect for creating deliciously sunkissed olives.
Made with a special selection of Taggiasca olives hand-harvested in the olive grove Roi Gaaci of Badalucco at 500 meters above sea level, with 40% green olives, 50% non-fully mature olives, and 10% black olives.
Organic Cru Gaaci Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Italy is certified as DOP Riviera Ligure, Riviera dei Fiori (PDO Ligurian Riviera, Flower Riviera), which certifies the origin of the raw material is 100% Italian and Cultivar Taggiasca.
Roi is a small family-owned EVOO producer that has been operating for four generations and is focused on quality. The estate is located in one of the most unique corners of Italy. Olive trees grow on terraced land in very steep hills and cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The climate and sea influence the oil's wonderful taste and unique aroma.
