Great texture, made in Italy.Very pricey, but worth it.Try it, tastier than plain spaghetti.
This is essentially like soba noodles from japan and it has the similar texture and cooking style as that. The only difference I would say is that wheat germ is actually quite fast to cook up by comparison, and you don't really need to drain it and run it in cold water like soba noodles. However, overcooking does break it up a bit, even the raw form kind of feels bristle. I do like how it comes in a big bag, but storing it can be a challenge.
This Morelli Pasta Farro - Organic Spelt Spaghetti Made in Italy with Wheat Germ - Speciality Gourmet Italian Pasta is delicious! It cooks up fairly quickly. We have it with homemade marinara and comes out so good. Even my picky eater loved it. I've had wheat pastas before and while they're ok, they aren't my favorite. I expected this pasta to be the same, but it is nothing like a typical wheat pasta. So glad we tried it!
