Vacuum packed package of instant dry bakers yeast obtained from a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Designed for use in regular bread and high-sugar dough with up to 10% sugar.
This yeast does not require dissolving before use. Simply mix with flour or add to dough during the first stage of mixing.
Resulting from Lallemand' s expertise, the Instaferm family of baking products presents numerous advantages over fresh yeast in many situations. As they are packaged airtight in protective atmosphere conditions, Instaferm products have a two-year shelf life (when unopened). As they are dehydrated, Instaferm products do not require refrigeration, making them much simpler to handle, store and transport.
